In a fluctuating world like the one that surrounds us, images are like the fabric depigmented by salt water, fragile and malleable, infinitely interpretable. Contradictions are also part of the visual ecosystem and the currents of trends and information flows. One of the recurring themes in conversations with Sastre is always the concern about the relationship with the ecosystem and the material production of images. Is it possible to produce with ecological awareness? The conversations, always intermittent, chain reactions and reflections from some shared image and some uncomfortable event. Discomfort is a state of alertness and wakefulness.
