ESTHER MIQUEL BARCELONA, 1983 Esther Miquel is a self-taught Spanish artist born in Barcelona in 1983. She received her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Bau College of Arts & Design in Barcelona in 2010 and a diploma in Interior Design from Deià-Llotja ESDAP in Barcelona in 2005. Throughout her career, Miquel has participated in several solo and group exhibitions. Notable exhibitions include "The White Wall" at Espacio 88 in Barcelona, Spain, and "Post>andalism" at HetHEM run by Unruly Gallery in Amsterdam, Netherlands, curated by Niels Shoe Meulman, Stephen Burke, Gabriel Rolt, and Rieke Vos. Miquel has also been featured in III Biennal d’Art Jove, Private Foundation Sabadell with Aldo Urbano, Alberto Gil Cásedas and Pau Magrané; "It Narratives: The Movement of Objects as Information" at Franklin Street Works in Stamford, USA along David Horvitz and other artists; and Juegos Reunidos at Sant Andreu Contemporani. Barcelona, Spain, with Antoni Hervàs and Mireia Saladrigues among others. In addition to her own artistic practice, Miquel has curated exhibitions such as "Pon el Ceerre al lado de un Miquel" at Groc Projects in Badalona, Spain, and "Byob BCN" at Met.Room Foundation in Barcelona, Spain, featuring works from artists like Amalia Ulman and Michael Swaney.
