Filippo Marzocchi
Forli, 1989
Filippo Marzocchi was born in Forli in 1989. He graduated in Fine Arts in Accademia delle Belle Arti di Bologna (Italy). Some of his solo exhibitions were “No Past No Future” and “Calls” in Galeria Fran Reus (Palma) and “8 Days Backwards” with Mattia Pajè in Major 28 (Spain).
He participated in group exhibitions in Sale Docs (Venice), PAV Parco d’Arte Vivente (Torino), Instituto Italiano de Cultura de París (France), UCA Carterbury (UK), IMC Blockmall (Turkey), SALT Beyoglu (Turkey), PANORAMA in Galeria Fran Reus (Palma). His works were in institutions like MAMbo (Bologna) or Zabludowicz Collection (London). His works has been in international art fairs like Art Verona curated by Emanuele de Donno (Italy) and Estampa Contemporary Art Fair with Galeria Fran Reus (Madrid). In 2014 he won the prize Zucchelli by Fondazione Zucchelli (Bologna). He was an artist in residence in Profesión Artista curated by Mercedes Busteo in Montevideo (Uruguay), “Highlights” residency programmes in The Blank Contemporary (Bergamo), ManufattuinSitu8 and ManufattuinSitu9 (Foligno), among others. Currently he manages the gallery Gelateria Sogni di Ghiaccio in Bologna (Italy), where he curated numerous exhibitions like “BANAL LOLA PARTY” by Stefano Cagol or “Freefall” by Lisa Dalfino e Sacha Kanah, among others. ![]()
