Unchained is a dialogue between Guillermo Ros and Alberto Feijóo. After meeting in the context of a collective exhibition in 2014, Guillermo and Alberto began a visual exchange at a distance, materializing in a timely manner on some occasions and generating a code between them. Unchained is a work of a procedural nature where personal experiences are intertwined and where the role of the artist as producer/accumulator within the Art system is questioned.
At Galeria Fran Reus, Unchained takes the form of a shared flat. In this room, occupied by some tenants, a series of everyday elements coexist that overlap with works by both artists and where the dialogue between the two artists takes place. On the occasion of this exhibition, Unchained Vol. 1 is published, a publication that includes a selection of images that both artists have shared with each other in recent years in the distance.
